Desiree Williams is a Senior Associate Project Director at Ibis. She oversees The MORE Study, a clinical trial that aims to gather robust evidence that providers need to confidently prescribe and counsel patients on various medication abortion options. In this role, Desiree is responsible for stakeholder collaboration, partnership building, study implementation, and budget management.
Throughout her career, Desiree has been committed to addressing health disparities and advancing the health of marginalized groups through community-based participatory research. Before joining Ibis, she worked on research projects that investigated the lived experiences of Black and Latinx New Yorkers and evaluated public health interventions aimed at improving their health outcomes.
Desiree holds a Master of Public Health degree in Sociomedical Sciences and a Certificate in Social Determinants of Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
