Maureen Mtimkulu joined Ibis in 2016 as Research Coordinator. Maureen has extensive research experience as she started doing research after Graduating at the University of the Free State in 2010 in a Bachelors of Social Sciences (Human and Societal Dynamics). She started out as a Research Intern for the National Research Foundation and was placed at the University of the Witwatersrand (Centre for Health Policy) where she did most of her research work in public and private hospitals and got her research project published for the first time. A few years later she joined the Human Sciences Research Council and the Medical Research Council. Before joining Ibis, she has been working at loveLife Trust as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Maureen is halfway through her Honours in Sociology at the University of South Africa.
