Hialy joins Ibis as a Project Manager, conducting and supporting the analyses and logistics of a variety of reproductive health research studies. Current projects investigate contraceptive use trends in Ghana, women’s experience obtaining reproductive health services in the US and South Africa, and stigma experienced by abortion providers in East Africa. While obtaining her MPH from Columbia University, she served as a student researcher for the Population and Family Health department and completed internships with the Guttmacher Institute and ICAP Swaziland. Prior to Columbia, Hialy served as a consultant performing health economics analyses for life science organizations and Cochrane reviews for the World Health Organization’s Burden of Disease project. Hialy also holds a BS in Engineering Product Design from Stanford University.
