Yves-Yvette Young, MPH
Yves joined Ibis as a Project Manager in 2016 and manages quantitative and qualitative projects in the United States and sub-Saharan Africa. She currently works on a range of projects at Ibis focused on increasing access to safe abortion in restrictive settings. Prior to Ibis she interned at the California Department of Public Health where she analyzed data on reproductive health education in California schools and at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA where she co-authored HIV-prevention materials for youth in developing countries. She also served as a volunteer sexual health educator in the Berkeley High School health clinic. Yves has a passion for work in reproductive health education, promotion, and disease prevention among women and adolescents in underserved communities. Yves holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana.
